Destress At A Garage Near Durham!

PIONEERING new spa The Garage, at The Morritt Hotel, close to the historic city of Durham, has created a special weekend from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 March for stressed-out guests. From only £190 per person, those wanting to escape the pressures of their everyday lives can immerse themselves in an itinerary of Hatha yoga, meditation and spa time – specifically designed to de-stress and leave them ready to face the challenges life brings.

Over the course of three days professional teachers, Simon Cowling and Chris Helliwell, will guide guests through the fundamental teachings of Hatha yoga and Tibetan tradition.

All accommodation and meals will be taken care of and guests will be able to relax in between sessions, making full use of The Garage spa’s state-of-the-art heat facilities. These include the outdoor hot tub and the first Shepherds Hut log sauna, both set in the beautiful Secret Garden.

The Garage is a country-chic spa which opened in December 2012 at the 17th century 27-bedroom Morritt Hotel at Greta Bridge near Barnard Castle. Originally used as a refuelling and repairing point for the country’s first motorcars, the Garage boasts car themed bespoke treatments such as the Oil Change Facial. It is located just off the A66, 30 minutes from Teesside airport and 20 minutes from Darlington train station.

The Meditation and Yoga Weekend costs £190 per person sharing a twin or double silver room, or £220 per person in a single silver room. To check availability and for more information visit www.thegaragespa.co.uk or telephone 01833 863100.
