Best Short Haul Accolades For Airline Duo

TWO airlines with strong links to Manchester Airport have won Best Short Haul Airline in separate travel awards – Jet2.com in the Globe Travel Awards 2012 and Lufthansa in the Business Travel Awards 2012.

This is the latest in a flurry of awards received by Jet2.com, who scooped best airline for Mainland Spain and Balearics, as well as the Canaries following a short-haul airline satisfaction survey by Which? magazine. It’s also recently picked up Best Low-Cost Airline in the Scottish Passenger Agents Association Awards and was voted runner up in the Best Short Haul Airline category of The Telegraph Travel Awards.

Lufthansa’s Business Travel Award comes hot on their being voted best Business Class Airline in Europe for 2011 by travel professionals from around the world in the fourth annual Business Destinations Travel Awards
