JOIN Hollyoak’s Pete Mitchell (plays Pete Hammill) and Big Brother’s Craig Phillips among other celebrities on Tuesday, May 17, by signing up for Disability Snowsport UK’s (DSUK) National Skiathon at Manchester’s Chill Factore.
Skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities are welcome to take part. Entry is £66 per team of 6 – each team is asked to raise a minimum of £666 by the end of June – and the challenge is to ski 666 runs in six hours. Equipment hire, a goodie back and memento T-shirt are included in the entry fee and there are prizes for team achievements (most money, most runs, fastest time…).
The day is about fun and helping to bring joy into the lives of many people living with disabilities across the UK – so no need to be a top-flight skier or boarder. Quizzes and games give everyone an equal footing.
