Cheap flights to Australia with Etihad

In Manchester, Etihad is best known as the name that's displayed across the chest of Tévez, Milner and the like at Eastlands. But the airline isn't just relying on high-profile football sponsorship to make a mark on Mancunians – it recently announced a series of headline-grabbing sale prices for flights from Manchester to Melbourne and Sydney.

Etihad prices from Manchester to Australia start at just £670 return including taxes.

Etihad also has a new partnership with Australia-based Virgin Blue Airlines, which takes the number of destinations offered to over 100. The new partnership will offer destinations in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Etihad travellers from Manchester can now book tickets to them all, including Auckland, Fiji and Perth

Other key destinations from Manchester are Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bangkok with prices starting at just £328 return including taxes.

Although Etihad is bringing low prices to long-haul destinations, this is far from a budget airline. Even economy class travellers can expect a luxurious experience designed to make your trip as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

Etihad's dining is regularly voted among the best in the industry and the airline curbs in-flight boredom with a huge range of on-demand entertainment on large personal screens. There are also child-friendly services with activity packs and dedicated in-flight entertainment.

And as of 7 December, travellers can make use of Etihad's new luxurious lounge at Manchester Airport. They also have an exclusive new terminal in Abu Dhabi – ideal if you want a smooth, hassle-free journey away from the queues and crowds.

Business travel on Etihad emulates the level of service and comfort you'd expect in a five-star hotel. You can stretch out on a flat bed in Pearl Business Class, or relax in a private personal suite in Diamond First Class. Spa treatments, personal 'Food and Beverage Managers', and your own wardrobe and mini bar are some of the other features that attract the high fliers.

But while they tempt the business travellers with the promise of an restful, exclusive flight experience, they're attracting the holiday-makers with their low prices.
