THURSDAY, October 16 is the day to book your European winter rail journeys through Voyages-sncf (formerly Rail Europe). Tickets go on sale for the new schedules in operation from December 14. Time to act fast as lower priced tickets sell out quickly
Routes throughout France will become available, as well as some international journeys including Paris to Milan, Geneva, Zurich, Luxembourg and Freiburg, and from Brussels to a range of French cities.
So whatever you fancy, be it heading for the ski slopes, visiting a Christmas market, topping up your tan in the South of France, wine tasting in Bordeaux or Reims or simply taking a cultural city break when museums and galleries are at their quietest, then make this a key date in your diary.
To help travellers benefit from the lowest available fares, the Voyages-sncf.com call centre will be open from 0500 on 16th October, and the Travel Centre at 193 Piccadilly, London will be open from 0800, offering pastries and juice to early morning customers.
For further information or to book, go to this link or call 0844 848 5 848.
Nice is a vibrant winter destination (Christmas markets are popular, top)
