LOW-COST airline Germanwings has announced that it will be launching a new flight route between Manchester and Stuttgart, Germany, as of July next year.
The carrier, owned by Lufthansa, came to Manchester two years ago and already flies to Cologne four times a week.
They will fly to Stuttgart five times a week from Manchester, every day except Wednesday and Saturday, with flights taking less than two hours to get you to the German city.
The airline will also be adding flights to Stuttgart from London Heathrow Airport from February 2012, with the Manchester route beginning later in the year.
Germanwings said that the changes have been made possible because it has been working more closely with its parent Lufthansa.
The new connection will allow passengers to connect to a number of other destinations via the airlines hub in Stuttgart.
