FLYBE’s new year-round daily service from Manchester to Schiphol Amsterdam has launched (October 26) as part of its 2014-15 winter schedule.
The airline, Europe’s largest regional operator, is using and 88-seat Embraer 175 jet aircraft and flight times are scheduled to appeal particularly to business travellers who need to accommodate a full day’s diary.
Chief Commercial Officer Paul Simmons said: “Flybe is the largest scheduled airline by the volume of traffic movements at Manchester and, based on existing evidence, the demand for flights between there and Amsterdam is already extremely high. This is why we have scheduled our new flights to ensure the best possible times for our business customers and also for those making Flybe connections through our Manchester hub onward to Schiphol.
