MANCHESTER Airport’s Terminal 2 is to become the new home for Monarch Airlines as it switches its operations from Terminal 1. The move will take place on the evening of Monday, November 14 so that all departing and arriving Monarch customers will be welcomed at Terminal 2 on the morning of Tuesday, November 15.
Customers will benefit from a dedicated check-in area offering more space, a refined check-in process and streamlined services in addition to same level access from car, bus and taxi drop off points to departures. Terminal 2 is Manchester’s newest terminal and offers a wide range of eateries and shopping facilities including high street shops such as Boots, Monsoon and Dixons.
Monarch currently operates a fleet of 11 aircraft offering both scheduled and charter flights from Manchester airport. Scheduled services go to a range of destinations throughout Mainland Spain, the Canary and Balearic Islands, Portugal, Gibraltar, Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt.
