New routes and flexible fares from easyJet

Low-fares airline easyJet is now offering direct flights from Manchester to Palma, Majorca with fares starting from just £31.99 (one-way, including taxes). Seats are now on sale and the inaugural flight will leave Manchester on Saturday March 12, 2011.

The easyJet flexible fares will stay true to easyJet’s commitment to low fares. They will be competitively priced and are expected to be far cheaper than those offered by the legacy carriers.

Ali Gayward, UK commercial manager at easyJet comments: “Following our recent launch of three new business routes from Manchester, the new service to Palma (pictured) caters for the region’s leisure travellers and brings our total number of destinations accessible from Manchester to 23.

“Palma, with its great weather and picturesque harbours, is ideal for those people seeking a new summer holiday destination or a cultural city break.”

From November 26 easyJet will also begin operating its new daily, direct service from Manchester to Hamburg, which offers one-way flights to Germany’s second city for as little as £27.99 (including taxes).

easyJet passengers travelling from Manchester are now set to benefit from the airline’s new partnership with Holiday Extras and the Manchester Airport Group which enables easyJet customers to book their parking at the airport for as little as £3 per day. Customers can also save up to 70% by pre-booking their parking online. For further information visit www.parking.easyjet.com.

The expanding airline has also announced a new flexible fare targeted at business travellers. The tickets will give passengers unlimited flexibility to change their flight up to two hours before the scheduled departure time.

Passengers can make unlimited changes within a four week time window - one week before and up to three weeks after the original booked travel date. Those booking an easyJet flexible fare will also benefit from automatic speedy boarding, no booking fees and a checked in hold bag at no extra cost.

The easyJet flexible fares will stay true to easyJet’s commitment to low fares. They will be competitively priced and are expected to be far cheaper than those offered by the legacy carriers.

The new flexible fares will be initially available only through business booking channels, including Global Distribution Systems and self booking tools used by business travel companies and at a later date will be accessible to all passengers through easyJet.com.
