THOMAS Cook Airlines’ new range of flights to the Caribbean from Manchester Airport is now fully operational, bringing the only routes outside London to St Lucia and Antigua and one of only a handful to Barbados.
A fully refurbished Airbus A330 arrived in November and undertook its first flight to Saint Lucia and Barbados. Now has followed the inaugural flight to Antigua, and representatives from Thomas Cook Airlines and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority celebrated the occasion by cutting a traditional cake, assisted by Anthony Cotton from Coronation Street, representing the Thomas Cook Children’s Charity, at Manchester Airport.
Christoph Debus, CEO Thomas Cook Airlines UK said: “Our new route to Antigua is yet again great news as we continue to develop Manchester Airport as our long haul hub and is another step as we aim to become the best sun and beach leisure airline.”
Thomas Cook Airlines flights to the Caribbean start from £249.99. Visit www.flythomascook.com.
