FROM May 28 Turkish Airlines will be running a 10 flights a week summer service between Manchester and Istanbul – after boosting the route to nine weekly from March 25. The additional three flights will operate on a Monday, Friday and Sunday using 737-800 aircraft, which are configured for two classes; Business and Economy.
Turkish Airlines, in 2011 recognized by Skytrax as the Best Airline in Europe, boasts flights to over 190 destinations with a fleet of 179 aircraft configured with state-of-the-art cabin features; including the new Comfort Class (Premium Economy) on Transatlantic, Far East and China routes.
The current sponsorship deal with Manchester United has raised the profile of Turkish Airlines as a leading carrier in the UK and caught the attention of football fans around the world.
Serving Manchester route since 1993, Turkish Airlines provide connections to some of the best destinations in Turkey, Africa, the Middle East, India, China and Asia via its main hub airport in Istanbul. With the additional services, Turkish Airlines will be able to offer seamless connections from Manchester to more than 100 destinations beyond Turkey.
