GLOBAL Vision International is seeking volunteers for its weeklong Global Initiative Programme, starting on16 August 2014. The aim is to simultaneously improve educational infrastructure within local communities across the world – a world in which over 57 million primary school-aged children do not receive any form of education.
Community-based projects will take place in three fascinating locations:
Head to the lush rainforest and vast palm plantations of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, where volunteers can enjoy beaches and hiking trails during their time off.
Or Cape Town, South Africa, where beautiful coasts and a lively atmosphere make for a wonderful working and living environment.
Phang Nga, Thailand is the final destination option, boasting a magnificent mixture of tropical beaches, secret islands, and a truly fascinating culture.
After all the hard work, volunteers can choose to extend their trip and explore the fascinating countries and all that they offer. Skilled and unskilled workers over the age of 15 are welcome and from day one, training and guidance is provided, with orientation sessions and informative presentations, ensuring that everyone gets the most possible out of the project.
The programme runs from 16 August for one week, from £795 per person. For full details visit this link.
